We are launching a fundraiser! The aim is to make sure every child in the local communities can have the opportunity to explore and experience the environment in the Western Cape Province, as they currently do not have the opportunity to go beyond their immediate surroundings. CWBR organises eco-educational trips, including different activities and experiences in natural surroundings. The videos below were made to promote our fundraiser and show what fun activities you can join with us!

The first video was filmed during 5 days, so just imagine what you could experience in 30 days within different biosphere reserves!

Our volunteers did a 5-day-trip in the magnificent Garden Route, from Franschhoek to all the way to Addo Elephant Park, near Port Elizabeth. The route passes towns such as Mossel Bay, Knysna, Plettenberg Bay, Nature's Valley, and Jeffrey's Bay. These places offer a huge variety of experiences you could have only dreamed of, and now we would like to offer YOU this!

Biosphere to Biosphere vol. 2 was filmed during a 1-day-trip around OUR Cape Winelands Biosphere, as well as on the coast in Overberg Biosphere Reserve!

Biosphere to Biosphere vol. 3 was filmed during 3 days on our trip to Witsand to watch whales and to pick up our newly graduated FGASA students. FGASA is one of the many projects CWBR is involved in, which trains field guides. We also went to visit a Bonnievale -school project to brainstorm about ideas to improve the local children's living conditions.
